Station Casinos is testing a Nevada-approved field trial that lets players fund certain Las Vegas slot and bartop machines using Apple Pay with a debit card stored in Apple Wallet.

The pilot brings phone-based funding directly to a physical gambling device without requiring a separate casino app or loyalty account.

Station Casinos says the feature makes it “easier than ever” to play slots. A customer can tap an iPhone or scan a QR code, choose an amount, and authorize the transaction through Apple Pay. The funds then appear as playable credits on the machine.

The trial is operating as a regulatory field test in Nevada, where gambling rules require approval for systems that electronically transfer money from financial institutions to gambling devices.
