Station Casinos experienced a cybersecurity incident in March, but the company says it will not have any impact on daily operations.
In a statement shared with FOX5 Monday, the company says the cybersecurity incident occurred in March when an unauthorized third party accessed a single employee’s account and associated files. The company added that it promptly took steps to respond to the incident with the assistance of external cybersecurity experts and in cooperation with law enforcement upon detecting it.
Station Casinos is notifying impacted individuals and has notified its regulators and other governmental agencies as required. The company has offered to provide credit monitoring and identity theft protection to all potentially affected individuals.
