Rhode Island gambling revenue was up slightly for slots, table games, and sports betting combined in September, but slots revenue slowed compared to the previous month, according to the latest data from the Rhode Island Lottery.
Rhode Island slot machine revenue dipped around $1.5 million from August to September, but table games revenue ticked up about $65,000. Combined, slots and table games lagged behind August by just under $1 million.
In terms of total revenue across Rhode Island casinos and sports betting, September represented the first time in the past five months that revenue grew at least 1%.
Year on year, however, revenue for slots was up by nearly $1 million.
