Rank Group has confirmed Richard Harris as its new permanent chief executive after six months in the role on an interim basis.
Harris had served as temporary CEO of the UK casino and bingo operator since 30 January 2026, following the retirement of former CEO John O’Reilly.
Harris first joined the Rank executive board as CFO in May 2022. Prior to that, he held senior roles outside of betting and gaming with Marks & Spencer, Foxtons and Laird.
Rank told investors in a regulatory news update today (13 July) that Harris was chosen after a recruitment process that considered both internal and external candidates.
The search was overseen by Rank’s nominations committee and supported by MWM Consulting.
