Playtech has reported revenue of €1.79 billion (US$2.02 billion) in 2024, a rise of a 4.9% from €1.71 billion (US$1.93 billion) in 2023. However, the figures also showed that the rate of revenue growth had continued to slow down, from 6.6% in 2023 and 32% in 2022.
The company continued to perform strongly in its core business-to-business area in 2024, revealing a 22% growth rate in EBITDA.
Much of that success was due to some significant developments during the year. The sale of Italian gaming company Snaitech to Flutter Entertainment, owner of US sportsbook FanDuel, generated €2.3 billion (US$2.6 billion) and represented a near-threefold return on investment.
Playtech also profited from new partnerships with Atlantic City casino Ocean Casino and entertainment group Delaware North.
