Casino Del Sol is giving a first look inside the new location set to open in the Fall.
The grand opening of Casino Del Sol, Vahi Taa’am is scheduled for Nov. 15. Featured inside the Pascua Yaqui Tribe’s new location is a 24,000-square-foot mural by Tucson artist Joe Pagac. The artwork covers the interior dome ceiling, displaying an Arizona desert sky with programmable lighting that transitions from midday to sunset.
“Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to create an unforgettable experience, and this is just the beginning,” officials said.
In addition to the mural featured in the first-look images, Yaqui painter Marcelino C. Flores III from the Old Pascua Community is creating an art piece titled Aniam Yo’orine.
