The state’s 11 casinos and racinos brought in a combined $176.1 million of revenue in January, down from $196.8 million in January 2023, according to data compiled from Casino and Lottery commission reports. This is the money kept by the gambling houses, after paying out winnings, but before state taxes and fees.

Ohio’s four casinos accounted for $75.2 million of revenue, down from $86.1 million. The state’s seven racinos took in $100.9 million, down from $110.8 million last January…

The dip in January comes after a strong December, where the casinos and racinos brought in $212.1 million in revenue, up from $193 million the previous December.
