In July 2023 the same 11 casinos and racinos reported just under $207 million in revenue, according to data from the Ohio Casino Control and Lottery commissions. This is the money kept by the gambling houses, after paying out winnings, but before state taxes and fees.

The four casinos, which can offer slot machines and table games like blackjack, took in $82 million of gambling revenue in July, down from $86 million last year.

The state’s seven racinos, the gambling houses at horse racetracks that can only offer slot machines, took in $115 million, down from $118 million. The totals reported by the Lottery Commission do not include wagering on horse races.
