Ohio’s 11 casinos and racinos brought in approximately $181.2 million in gambling revenue in January, reflecting a $26.2 million decline from the previous month.

Compared to the same period last year, casinos and racinos saw a slight decline in revenue, with January 2024 figures reaching $176.1 million, according to data from the Ohio Casino Control and Lottery commissions.

Despite the month-over-month decline, annual gambling revenue in Ohio for 2024 remained consistent with the previous year. The combined total for both 2024 and 2023 was just under $2.4 billion.

The reported revenue represents the money retained by gambling establishments after paying out winnings but before accounting for state taxes and fees.
