Last week was a huge one for online sportsbooks in New York, which reported one of their biggest revenue hauls since the launch of mobile wagering in the Empire State.
Numbers released on Thursday by the New York State Gaming Commission show the state’s online sports betting handle for the week ended October 9 was approximately $319.3 million, up slightly from the $322.4 million reported the week before.
After a summer slowdown, New York’s mobile betting handle has hovered around the $300-million mark since the resumption of the National Football League’s regular season in September.
