The impasse continues, according to a Buffalo News report, between the Seneca Nation and the state of New York concerning the Seneca Nation Compact, which expires on Dec. 9.
The Seneca Nation owns and operates a trio of casinos in the state: the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls, the Seneca Allegany Casino in Salamanca, and the Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino in Buffalo.
Negotiations over a new compact stalled out over the summer, and no forward progress — at least none publicly identified — has been made since then.
