Seneca Resorts & Casinos are planning special watch parties open to the public to celebrate the April 8 solar eclipse at its three Western New York properties.
The region is in the direct path of a total solar eclipse, a celestial event that hasn’t occurred in the area in close to a century and will not happen again for another 120 years.
“The eclipse is going to be the event of a lifetime, and we want to celebrate with the Western New York community and those visiting from around the world in a way none of us will forget,” said Kevin Nephew, Seneca Gaming Corporation President & CEO. “From Niagara Falls to Buffalo to Salamanca, we’ll have something that everyone can enjoy as we all take in something we won’t see happen again until 2144.”
