As the excitement continues to build around Caesars casino in Danville, developers have determined that it will be scaling back on the number of hotel rooms at the resort.

The $500 million project was first approved in November of 2020. The new establishment will feature a state-of-the-art casino floor with over 1,000 slot machines, a Caesars Sportsbook, a World Series of Poker Room, a new restaurant, and more.

The resort was first set to have about 500 rooms; however, the City Manager Ken Larking said the developmental agreement with Caesars calls for at least 300 hotel rooms. He told WFXR that the number of rooms was downsized to 320.
