Michigan is continuing to put compliance and responsible gaming at the center of its regulated gambling market. The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) renewed the operating licenses of MGM Grand Detroit, MotorCity Casino, and Hollywood Casino at Greektown after completing its annual review of all three properties. The renewals are another example of how the MGCB has been diligent in upholding compliance standards.
The MGCB unanimously approved the three casino license renewals during its Sept. 8 meeting.
Before giving approval, regulators reviewed each casino’s financial standing, operating practices, and compliance with responsible gaming requirements under the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act.
