MGM Springfield’s table games and slots brought in $27 million in gross gambling revenue last month. That’s up from the $22 million recorded in February and from the $25.5 million reported a year ago in March 2025, according to figures released Tuesday by the Massachusetts Gaming
Commission.
Before its 2018 opening, MGM predicted an average of $34.8 million per month in gross gaming revenue. The casino has never hit that $34.8 million goal. The casino tax collected at MGM Springfield last month was $6.75 million.
Taken together, Plainridge Park Casino, MGM Springfield and Encore Boston Harbor generated a total of about $107.76 million in gross gambling revenue.
Also, the seven mobile or online sports wagering licensees and the three in-person sportsbooks reported $65.43 million in taxable sports wagering revenue in March.
