Macau’s gross gaming revenue is estimated to have reached MOP$5.65 billion (US$701 million) across the first eight days of March, with the daily run rate of MOP$706 million (US$87.6 million) representing a 4% decline compared with February but 11% higher than in March 2025.

Citigroup analysts said they believe concerts by Korean boy band TREASURE at the Venetian Arena, and Chinese singer-songwriter Wang Sulong and Korean girl group Aespa at Galaxy Arena, might have contributed to Macau’s solid start in March 2026.

They added that, based on industry sources, VIP volumes fell by between 2% and 4% month-on-month with mass GGR down 3% to 5%. VIP hold rate appears to be slightly above normal, the analysts explained in a note.
