Coushatta Casino Resort celebrated the grand opening of its new Legacy Tower on Friday, marking a major expansion that adds 204 hotel rooms — including 100 luxury suites — and brings the resort’s total to more than 1,000 rooms.
The Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana hosted a ceremony inside the new Legacy Tower lobby with tribal leaders, resort executives, project partners, elected officials and community members.
The event included a tribal blessing, traditional performances, remarks from leadership, partner recognition and a ribbon cutting.
“Legacy Tower represents more than growth for Coushatta,” said David Sickey, chairman of the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana. “It reflects our commitment to building something lasting for future generations while honoring the legacy of those who came before us.”
