Gigolo, the Pomeranian companion of husband-and-wife restaurateurs and reality TV stars Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd, died in December 2020 at about 11 years old. But Gigolo — Giggy, affectionately — lives on at the new Vanderpump Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, lending his name and likeness to the property’s new flagship lounge.
The lounge lies adjacent to hotel check-in and replaces the former Bound Bar. A 5-foot-2-inch statue of Giggy sporting a waistcoat and bowtie rises from a platform in the center of the bar; the statue is fashioned from black resin.
“To commemorate my beloved Gigolo, our lovedog who inspired The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, creating a bar in his honor has always been a dream of mine,” Vanderpump said in an announcement.
