Lionel Richie has called off his dates next week and weekend at Encore Theater at the Wynn. The “Dancing on the Ceiling” superstar has pulled shows scheduled for Wednesday and Oct. 16-17. His next dates at the venue are Nov. 11, 13 and 14.
Two of Richie’s three postponed dates return to the calendar Jan. 8-9. The third in that run, Jan. 6, is already taken by recurring Encore headlining comic Jim Gaffigan.
The 77-year-old entertainment icon announced in late September he had undergone “a common procedure for atrial fibrillation (AFib).” At that time, Richie pulled his upcoming touring shows with Earth, Wind & Fire in San Francisco, Chicago and Columbus, Ohio.
