UNLV is looking to sell a plot of land for nearly $40 million after prior attempts to sell all or part of the spread fell through.
The university announced Wednesday that it put a 10.2-acre parcel near its main campus on the market for about $39.9 million. The now-vacant lot, at the southeast corner of Tropicana Avenue and University Center Drive, across from the Thomas & Mack Center, was previously home to a cluster of UNLV buildings called the Paradise Campus.
Located around 1.5 miles east of the Las Vegas Strip, the property offers the opportunity for a range of ventures, including mixed-use, hospitality or other projects, according to a news release from UNLV.
