A Las Vegas DraftKings employee was arrested on allegations that he participated in a college proposition bet scheme with four others, including a Fresno State basketball player, according to court documents 8 News Now obtained.
Las Vegas Justice Court records showed Samuel Silverman was charged with commission of a fraudulent act in a gaming establishment and conspiracy to cheat at a gambling game. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Aug. 4.
Silverman is one of five people accused of participating in a sports betting ring involving a basketball player from Fresno State, according to court documents.
