Saying she needs to “rebuild my engine,” Dolly Parton has parked plans to headline the Strip.
Parton announced on social media Monday she won’t be ready to perform her half-dozen shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace this September. Those sold-out dates running Sept. 17-26 have been canceled.
Parton said in her lengthy, upbeat video message, “I have some good news and a little bad news. The good news is I’m responding really well to meds and treatments and I’m improving every day. The bad news is it’s gonna take me a little while before I’m up to stage performance level.
