Cirque du Soleil announced on August 15 its high-energy variety show Mad Apple will be closing permanently on September 5 after more than four years of performances at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Tickets for remaining shows are available at madapplelv.com.
Taking the showroom space where Zumanity was performed for 17 years, Mad Apple opened in May 2022 as a collaboration between Cirque and The Works Entertainment Group, combining artistic acrobatics and other familiar elements from Cirque productions with stand-up comedy, a naughtier tone and an overall off-the-rails cabaret feel.
