Branson, Missouri-based HCW Development plans to begin construction this fall on a 140-room hotel adjacent to the Horseshoe Indianapolis casino in Shelbyville, the developer announced Tuesday. The hotel will be Shelbyville’s largest and the first one built near the casino.
The five-story, 109,324-square-foot hotel is expected to open in spring 2028, according to HCW, which will own and manage the property.
HCW said the hotel will be part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, a line of more than 200 boutique-style hotels that are each uniquely designed.
The company declined to disclose the expected cost to develop the property, which will include two meeting rooms totaling 1,648 square feet, a restaurant and bar with outdoor poolside seating, fitness center and resort-style infinity pool.
