All local candidates and political action committees had to file their final campaign finance reports before Election Day.

The pro-casino group, Advance Fort Wayne, reported $516,000 raised this year. Of that amount, $500,000 came from Richard Byers, the former president of Automotive Color & Supply Corp. The Political Action Committee (PAC) has spent more than $123,000 on pro-casino advertising.

Voters in Allen, DeKalb and Steuben Counties can all vote on whether to allow the casino in their respective county.

For the Secretary of State race, new campaign finance reports show that Democratic candidate Beau Bayh has out-raised and out-spent his competitors in the race. Bayh spent $3.9 million last quarter compared to Republican candidate Max Engling’s $1.6 million.
