Rockford Hard Rock Casino workers and community allies are set to hold a Rally for Respect outside the casino on Friday.
The workers are calling on the Hard Rock to end the anti-union campaign it allegedly has been running and respect workers’ right to organize.
“It’s time for the Hard Rock Casino to stop doubling down on union busting and start respecting the rights of workers to organize unions and lift up our community,” said Sara Dorner, the President of Rockford United Labor, the local labor council that represents more than 25,000 unionized workers in the Greater Rockford Area.
