Hard Rock Casino Rockford says it’s a safe bet for the building to complete construction by its August 2024 estimation.

The 180,000 sq. ft. facility remains under assembly as crews fill the space with 900 trucks-worth of concrete and 922 tons of structural steel.

Additionally, a warmer winter than usual played a hand in the Hard Rock’s fortune thus far.

“I think we maybe had one or two days where we were impacted on weather,” says Geno Iafrate – president of Hard Rock Casino Rockford. “But we were pouring concrete outside in the middle of December in Northern Illinois. When has that ever happened?”
