Harrah’s Cherokee Casinos also added economic value to the surrounding communities through wages and benefits paid and payments to vendors for goods and services. In 2022, this included $16.1 million in payments to vendors, $18.719 million in team member salary and wages, and a $7.5 million payment to the Cherokee Preservation Fund – an organization that supports the revitalization of the Cherokee downtown district and offers grants that help sustain local organizations.
