Front desk workers at Park MGM unanimously ratified their first collective bargaining agreement with a two-year contract covering 82 employees, Teamsters Local 986 said in a news release.
The bargaining unit encompasses front desk clerks, head cashiers, rooms controllers, lobby ambassadors and guest service representatives, the union said.
Workers will receive a 10% wage increase along with improved benefits and an enhanced pension plan, according to the release. Employees will also gain access to the Teamsters health and welfare plan, which lowers deductibles, co-pays and out-of-pocket costs.
“This contract allows me to provide a better future for myself and my family,” Andrea Mata, a front desk clerk and Local 986 member, said in a statement.
