Simon Zinger will be leaving his roles as group general counsel and chief customer care officer at Entain, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.
Zinger has held the former position for around five and a half years, during which time Entain entered into a Deferred Prosecution Agreement with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). This agreement requires the operator to maintain an enhanced compliance programme and a rigorous co-operative relationship with the CPS until December 2027.
With Zinger’s signature prominent on the DPA, his exit before the end of its four-year term is a significant step.
The senior Entain figure also holds a Personal Management Licence (PML) with the UK Gambling Commission and will need to notify the regulator of his exit in due course.
