The former Atlantic Club Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, which has been vacant for more than a decade, could be getting a new life as a “condo-tel.”
Rocco Sebastiani, president of Colosseo Development Group, said a plan being overseen by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs calls for the property to be reimagined as a “condo-tel.” One tower of the building would become a 330-room hotel under either the Hyatt or Hilton brands. The second tower would contain 108 residences, ranging from approximately 1,700 to 3,300 square feet.
This proposal is the latest in a series of development plans that have been discussed for the property over the years.
