August was another positive month for Detroit casino revenue. The three commercial casinos in the Motor City produced $108.9 million in revenue last month, a 3% increase compared to last August’s $105.7 million.
Detroit continues to build toward its highest casino revenue year since before the pandemic. It has surpassed over $100 million in revenue in every month for 2026.
Of the three Detroit casinos, it was the MGM Grand Detroit that took in the most revenue from August. The MGM Grand Detroit brought in a 48.6% share with $52.9 million of the revenue.
