Construction crews marked a major milestone in Eagle Mountain Casino’s resort expansion by placing the final steel beam at the top of the building’s structure during a topping-off ceremony.
The ceremony signaled the highest point of the building’s frame, though the project is not finished and is not yet open.
The casino has said the new resort expansion is expected to open in 2027.
The event was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. , with invited guests signing the topping-off steel beam as they entered the ceremony area. Coffee, tea and water were to be provided.
