After more than two and a half years, bingo soon will return to Potawatomi Hotel & Casino.

The last time bingo — “the game that started everything at Potawatomi more than 30 years ago” — was offered at the property was around St. Patrick’s Day of 2020, according to Ryan Amundson, public relations manager. Potawatomi was closed from mid-March until the beginning of June of 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first “very special” bingo session back will start at noon on Dec. 31, the casino announced Monday. It will be a ticketed event with limited space (600 seats). Tickets for the event cost $275 and will include 44 games of bingo, with the last game’s payout being $20,000, Amundson said.
