The city’s first casino generated more than $114 million in adjusted gross receipts through Aug. 31 — one week shy of 12 months — ranking Bally’s Chicago fourth in revenue among the state’s 15 casinos during its first year of operation, according to data from the Illinois Gaming Board.

For Chicago, Bally’s has generated nearly $12.9 million in local taxes in its first 12 months, a new source of revenue for the city, but significantly below the projected pace for the temporary casino.
