Illinois residents Zu Lin, Yuhan Hu, Liping Zhou and Zhencan Chen were part of the six-person team that perpetrated the scam early Wednesday morning, according to court documents. They were detained and questioned at the Wind Creek Gaming Office around 7 a.m. after the two other members of the group — Fuxiang Liu and ringleader Qingyong Zhang — departed the hotel with a rolling suitcase, police said.

The scheme began at 3:52 a.m. on Wednesday, according to police, as the six men sat down at a baccarat table that Zhang had reserved on the Wind Creek casino floor.
