Ocean Casino Resort will spend $50 million this year on room and suite renovations, a casino expansion and new restaurants, the business said Monday.
The property will renovate 559 hotel rooms and suites, double its Asian-themed gambling space, add new restaurants and create an indoor mini-golf course and bar.
The work is part of a $270 million investment that the casino’s owners, Luxor Capital Group and Ilitch Holdings Inc., have committed to making in the property in recent years.
“Ocean continues to invest in property enhancements that enable us to provide an unmatched guest experience not only in Atlantic City, but nationwide,” said Bill Callahan, the casino’s general manager. “This year also marks an exciting milestone as we complete the entire hotel with fully renovated guest rooms and suites.”
