Ocean Casino Resort expects to resume full gambling operations Tuesday, a day after a fire and flooding from a burst pipe forced it to shut down those activities Monday.
Ocean spokeswoman Becky Thiry said the casino plans to restart its slot machines, tables games and sports betting operations at some point Tuesday, although the exact time could not yet be estimated.
The problems started with an early morning fire in a linen closet that led to the collapse of a portion of the ceiling in the lobby, officials said.
The hotel was operating at limited capacity Monday, Ocean management said in a statement on Facebook.
