Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa announced Tuesday the start of “significant” upgrades to its casino floor in September, including a new Asian cuisine concept and a bar featuring rare liquors from around the world.
To make way for the changes, the casino also announced that it will close its popular Gypsy Bar on Friday.
Nik Rytterstrom, president and chief operating officer of Borgata, said the improvements “are not just about maintaining our position in the market — they’re about pushing the boundaries of what our guests can expect from a world-class gaming destination.”
The latest upgrades follow a series of spring improvements, including remodeling of the Long Bar, an expanded outdoor pool and the debut of a 9,060-square-foot event space on the 32nd floor of the MGM Tower called Overlook.
