Saracen Casino Resort will host the inaugural Arkansas Poker Classic, a six-day tournament series featuring prizes of up to $300,000.
In partnership with Gulf Coast Poker Tour, the resort will host the competition on Oct. 6 – 11.
The resort said that the Arkansas Poker Classic marks the first time a poker tour has brought a tournament series to the state, and is expecting players from all across the region to participate.
“There is a deep and thriving poker community in Arkansas that we are delighted to offer the Arkansas Poker Classic,” said Bill Phillips of Gulf Coast Poker. “This is the first time a poker tour has brought a series to the state.”
