Resorts Casino Hotel is giving itself a facelift and making itself cooler. The casino said Wednesday it has begun two major capital improvement projects aimed at upgrading the property, which was Atlantic City’s first casino.
One project will renovate the façade of the casino’s Ocean Tower, while another will replace five 40-year-old cooling towers and a roof.
The work will take place without disrupting operations at the casino.
“This investment ensures our guests experience the highest level of comfort while also strengthening our building systems for decades to come,” said Mark Giannantonio, president and CEO of Resorts. “Modernizing our mechanical infrastructure is essential to supporting future growth.”
