The variety of subject matters that I work on and the diversity of the team, as well as our patrons.

How it’s a very big, small business. It amazes me how many people in the industry know each other.
Were you familiar with gambling before landing a job in the industry?
Yes, I enjoy casinos.
What were your thoughts about gaming before starting to work in the industry?
An entertaining and a fun way to spend an evening.
Has your impression of the industry changed at all?
I still think it’s entertaining, but in a different way.
What major trends do you see emerging in the gaming industry over the next 5 to 10 years?
The implementation of predictive analytics in business and gaming operations. Also, a coordinated multijurisdictional licensing process.
What advice would you give to aspiring leaders in the gaming industry?
Because of the variety of career paths in this industry…try a few and stick to the one that you enjoy. Also, use your support group and network.
