Aristocrat takes center stage at ICE

With a new global theme of “It’s all about what’s inside,” Aristocrat will not only move center stage at ICE (literally); they’ll also showcase the company’s largest collection of games selected for diverse markets from Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The claims are backed by Aristocrat relocating closer to the heart of London ExCel’s South Hall. Stand S5-150 is their new site accessed by the central S5 entrance. And they’ll be showing games that have been dominant elsewhere, but are now poised for release in EMEA, including Holland.

The latest big hit is Aristocrat’s licensed “Dragon Link” series. Offered on the curved-screen Arc cabinet, this new evolution of their “Lighting Link” progressive has been on the top of charts throughout Australia, France and the US. The latter was a breakthrough hit and was the first game in a decade to knock “Wheel of Fortune” out of the No. 1 position a few years back. Now, its successor “Dragon Link” has set an even higher bar.

According to James Boje, Aristocrat’s managing director of EMEA, “we will be sharing a stunning line-up of what’s next for gaming floors in 2019. It’s vital that customers can see as much as possible of the output resulting from year-on-year investment in design and development.” One of those upgrades to “Dragon” will be a new family of games featuring a “Big Symbols” free-game mechanic and a range of base games with multi mid-denominations for privée areas. Quick to jump on this release, Italy’s Casinò di Venezia will go live with an impressive 12-game carousel, known as the “Dragon Link Den” on the eve of ICE. In a further commitment for their “Hold & Spin” game series, Aristocrat’s new “Lightning Link” titles include “Eyes of Fortune” and “Dragon’s Riches,” featuring expanding wilds during free games.

Aristocrat’s Arc cabinet isn’t their only strong box. The new Helix XT portrait cabinet will get two new base themes on the popular “Gold Stacks 88 Link:” “Prosperity Pig” and “Tiger Reign.”  Likewise the Helix Tower also gets a linked concept with “Wonder 4 Spinning Features” and a variation of the popular “Mighty Cash” known as “Dragon Tower Jackpots.”

Aristocrat will also bolster their Bingo offerings at ICE. Targeting the South African market, they have produced a vast library of proven content from their Class Two bingo-based machines in North America. Alfonso Sánchez, Sales Director (non-casino) EMEA, said, “our entry in 2018 through our local distribution partner umAfrika Gaming Technologies, created a huge buzz amongst players in South Africa bingo halls, and a third wave of games is now set to generate even more thrills over the next 12 months.”

Aristocrat will have over a dozen new titles for ICE and have made a commitment to give Bingo operators a library of nearly 30 games with a wide variety of mechanics offered in core, standalone progressive and entertainment segments.
