The 10th edition of The Math That Gaming Made, by Dr. Ralph Thomas and Andrew Cardno, will be available at the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention, April 8-11, in Anaheim, California.
Thomas and Cardno, employees of the San Diego, California-based Quick Custom Intelligence, have worked more than 15 years on the book. The new edition is a 1,400 page compendium of prior releases that looks at topics including gaming dynamics and database marketing.
“This 10th edition is the result of years of dedicated research,” Thomas said. “By incorporating the latest in cyber security and database marketing, we aim to equip readers with the necessary tools to thrive in a constantly evolving environment.”
The new edition focuses on cyber security and includes an expanded glossary and insights into database marketing.
“The 10th edition represents a significant advancement in scope and depth,” Cardno says. “We’ve not only updated the content but infused it with renewed excitement. From unraveling complex mathematical concepts to exploring the potential of database marketing, this edition has something for everyone.”
Buddy Frank, a CDC Gaming contributor and longtime gaming industry expert, says the authors “consistently push the boundaries of knowledge. The 10th edition of ‘The Math That Gaming Made’ reflects their commitment to excellence and education. The enhanced industry glossary and added content about database marketing are a clear reflection of this ongoing commitment.”
