The Detroit Pistons are the latest professional sports team to enter the online sports betting arena.
WynnBET, the online gaming division of Wynn Resorts, announced Tuesday that it is partnering with the storied NBA franchise. The multi-year deal includes joint marketing initiatives designed to appeal to fans at games and online.
The partnership features a new initiative, Wynn Wednesdays, exclusive to the WynnBET mobile app and website. During Pistons regular season games on Wednesdays, fans will be able to win prizes, including team and player memorabilia, tickets, and unique VIP experiences.
At Detroit home games, fans will also be given opportunities for in-person events based on Wynn Resorts’ VIP programs, including luxury in-suite hospitality and pop-up experiences.
WynnBET will also engage in traditional sponsorship and advertising efforts on Pistons game-day radio programs, its mobile app, social channels, and in-arena.
WynnBET recently secured a partnership with the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies, and is an authorized gaming operator of NASCAR, as well as the official online sportsbook for the Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway, pending approval by the state of Virginia.
