TRENTON, N.J. (AP) – Jersey Cash 5 lottery players will want to check their tickets again.
The New Jersey Lottery says the wrong winning numbers for Wednesday night’s drawing were posted on its website.
Officials have not said how the mistake was made. Lottery spokeswoman Judith Drucker did not return messages and an email on Thursday seeking details.
The correct numbers for Wednesday’s Jersey Cash 5 evening drawing are: 11, 15, 28, 35 and 43.
The lottery mistakenly posted a 34 instead of a 35 when the numbers were first reported.
Wednesday’s Cash 5 jackpot was $237,787.
