Wayne Gretzky and Elizabeth Smart will grace the stages at this year’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) taking part in main stage discussions hosted by the American Gaming Association.
Over three days starting September 28, the conference in Las Vegas will feature gaming executives discussing trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the future of gaming.
“We are thrilled to welcome an exceptional lineup of industry leaders and speakers to the G2E main stage,” AGA President and CEO Bill Miller said in a statement. “These conversations will bring together influential voices to share insights, spark meaningful conversations and discuss the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead for our industry.”
After Miller’s keynote address, Gretzky will be part of “CEO Outlook: The Global State of Gaming,” and “Defining Greatness: A Conversation with Adam Greenblatt and Wayne Gretzky.”
Greenblatt, CEO of BetMGM, and Gretzky will discuss the convergence of sports, digital innovation, sports betting and what it takes to achieve greatness.
It will be proceeded by a discussion featuring three of gaming’s leading chief executives. MGM Resorts’ Bill Hornbuckle, Tom Reeg of Caesars Entertainment and Craig Billings of Wynn Resorts, will discuss expansion in Las Vegas and internationally and the forces shaping long-term growth with CNBC correspondent Contessa Brewer.
Smart, who came to prominence during her kidnapping in 2002 at the age of 14, will chat with Meghan Speranzo, Global Gaming Women’s co-chair of mentorship during “Identity Beyond the Headline: Power, Voice and Resilience at Work” on September 30.
The conversation will focus on resilience, mental adversity and what it means for professionals, especially women, to show up as whole humans, not headlines. Presented by Global Gaming Women, the session will explore how to reclaim authorship of your story beyond labels, expectations and the moments that try to define you.
G2E’s full education lineup features more than 100 sessions and more than 300 speakers. The annual conference takes place from September 28–October 1 at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.
