Cumming Group, an international construction consultancy, and Seattle-based general contractor Skanska are leading the work that is expected to be completed in 2024.

“The new Snoqualmie Casino expansion will provide a significant boost to the local community through immediate job creation and will soon provide a much-needed hotel offering with new convention, concert, and meeting spaces,” said Cumming Group Senior Project Manager Scott Hebert in a statement. “We could not be more excited to bring this caliber of resort experience to Snoqualmie.”

Cumming Group is currently overseeing Phase One of the project, which includes the construction of the casino’s valet entrance, associated buildings, and parking facilities, to provide ample space for nearly 1.2 million square feet of renovations and expansion.

The project will add 11,000 square feet of gaming floor space, a full-service spa, a fitness center and indoor pool with an outdoor deck, a 2,000-seat entertainment and convention center, new onsite parking, and two new restaurants.

“Having built the original Snoqualmie Casino, we are excited to partner once again with Snoqualmie Entertainment Authority, Cumming and Bergman Walls & Associates to deliver the next phase,” said Skanska USA Building Project Executive Tom Leptich. “We understand the impact of this project on the community and the opportunities it provides, particularly for TERO workers, Snoqualmie Indian-owned businesses, Native American-owned businesses as well as businesses in the Snoqualmie Valley. Our team is delighted to be part of this important project and to be able to bring meaningful jobs to the community.”

The Snoqualmie casino expansion and hotel addition was designed by Bergman Walls & Associates, and includes architectural details inspired by Snoqualmie culture. Notably, a modern slant roof hotel design will represent the longhouses of the Snoqualmie Tribe’s ancestors and select artwork throughout the resort will pay homage to the Tribe.
