Virginia casino revenue up 31% year-over-year in April

Virginia’s three casinos, Hard Rock Bristol, Rivers Casino Portsmouth, and Caesars Virginia, have reported combined adjusted gaming revenue of $78.7 million in April, up31% from last year’s $60.1 million.

The Virginia Lottery also reported that of AGR, slots made up $59.5 million, up from $43.9 million recorded in April 2024 and table games generated $19.1 million, a rise from $16.2 million. They represent a year-over-year increase of 35.6% and 18.3%, respectively.

Caesars Virginia generated the highest AGR of the month, reporting $32.4 million. This figure increased from $19.7 million and shows a year-over-year increase of 64.2%. Hard Rock Bristol’s AGR increased 50.9% from $13.9 million to $21 million. Rivers Casino Portsmouth’s AGR dropped 4.3% from $26.4 million to $25.2 million.
