  1. Bet365 will be the first regulated sportsbook operator in Ontario to offer horse racing, thanks to a partnership announced Wednesday with Woodbine Entertainment. The sportsbook is expected to offer its customers wagering on Sunday’s King’s Plate, the first leg of the Canadian Triple Crown thoroughbred racing series.
  2. Apollo Entertainment faces a CAD$100,000 fine from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario for violations of the province’s responsible-gambling requirements.
  3. PlayAlberta.ca, the sportsbook app operated by the province’s gaming, lottery & cannabis regulatory body, has received an extensive makeover through a new, long-term partnership with BtoBet.
  4. Caesars Entertainment’s igaming app and desktop plaform was unveiled this week in Ontario’s regulated gambling marketplace, along with New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia in the U.S.
